Dishwasher Position Summary
Dishwashers are a vital part of the total quality dining service experience in our community. Dishwashers assist the dining staff by delivering food carts and trays to specific areas as directed, set up and break down dishwashing areas, clean and roll dishwashing mats, load/unload dish machine, assist with thorough cleaning of dishware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, exceeding sanitation standards. Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of supply areas, kitchen and dining areas which includes sweeping and mopping floors. Remove trash and garbage to dumpster each day.

Dishwasher Job Qualifications and Requirements
Must be 16 years of age or older
Valid Driver’s License
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Will be required to handle and use commercial detergents and cleaning products
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively to staff, residents, families, and community members
Must be empathetic, energetic and have an affinity for working with a diverse senior population
All applicants must complete and pass a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening
