Willow Valley is hiring Dishwashers to be responsible for to wash and sanitize dishes, silverware, small wares and equipment, maintains the dish room, kitchen area and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. The dishwasher will maintain a warm, friendly and professional relationship with the Residents, treating them with care and respect while interacting positively with all team members and supports the goals and objectives of the Dining Services department.

Responsibilities:

• Scrapes, scrubs, washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, trays, silverware, utensils and other kitchen equipment by hand or in commercial dish machine according to standard operating procedures.
• Retrieves carts and tubs of soiled tableware and takes to dish room.
• Stores all clean and sanitized dishware, silverware and equipment in proper manner and location.
• Transports clean and sanitized tableware and supplies to dining areas.
• Monitors and records dish machine temperatures and sanitizer concentrations on documentation charts daily.
• Cleans the commercial dish machine inside and out daily.
• Keeps the dish room area clean, sanitary, well-organized and safe throughout shift.
• Sweeps and mops floors in dish room, kitchen, walk-in refrigerators, storage areas, and dock areas.
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly cleaning jobs according to cleaning lists and calendars.
• Collects trash and recyclables and transports to designated receptacles or areas.
• Trains new dishwashers and instructs them in essential duties and responsibilities of the job in accordance with the training checklists and expectations.
• Follows Willow Valley’s HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety guidelines while operating equipment; transporting food, supplies, and trash; and preparing and serving food.
• Attends Team meetings, in-services and training sessions regularly.

Qualifications:

• No prior training or experience is required. On-the-job training is provided.

Hours:

• Part-Time available, 2-3 days a week

Schedule:

• Evening, 4:00pm-8:00pm or 5:00pm-8:30pm, 2-3 days/week
• Every other weekend and Every other holiday

Location:

• All locations of Willow Valley Communities
• Lancaster and Willow Street, PA

Wage:

• $13.00/hr based on experience
