Job Title: DISHWASHER/HOMEMAKER Status: Part-time (20-25 hours per week)
Position Summary: To ensure that all dishes are clean and maintain a clean and safe environment. On the job training for cooking will also be a part of this position's job duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience
None
Professional Licensure/Certification/Registration
Hold a current food handler's permit or the ability to obtain the permit within 30 days of
employment.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to safely lift and/or move 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds frequently and
10 pounds consistently.
Must be able to safely lift and/or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Special Training/Skills
Knowledge of therapeutic diets and sanitation practices.
The ability to perform in an institutional kitchen setting.
Must be able to prioritize work and adjust work schedules accordingly.
Must exhibit tact, sensitivity and respect when dealing with patients and co-workers.
Ability to effectively communicate by oral and written means.
Minimum math ability to add, subtract, and to perform mathematic operations.
Accept and utilize supervision.
