Dishwasher -- Plus Tips! Job at Savage Goods
As a Dishwasher at Savage Goods, you will be responsible for keeping a clean supply of dishware, glassware, silverware, and cookware throughout your shift, and for maintaining the cleanliness of the dish area. You will also participate in daily prep work as assigned by the Head Chef. The Dishwasher/Prep Cook must thrive in a fast-paced work environment while adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards for the entire kitchen. **Tips are pooled between front and back of house staff, and provide an additional $3-5/hour in total compensation!**

Availability Requirements: A flexible schedule with open availability, including weekends and holidays
Role and Responsibilities:
- Washes dishes in an efficient and orderly manner, using proper chemicals and procedures
- Maintains a clean and organized dish area including chemicals, towels, dishes, storage racks, sinks, and floors
- Maintains adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room, paying close attention to peak periods
- Assumes 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishes and the dish area
- Accomplishes daily prep work in a timely manner and demonstrates initiative in learning the Savage Goods Kitchen menu and methods
- Responds quickly to restaurant needs, and works collaboratively with front and back of house staff
- Completes designated daily side work
The ideal Dishwasher candidate:
- Is able to maintain an organized work flow
- Has a desire to help where needed and to work as part of a team
- Is able to take constructive criticism, with a desire to learn and improve
- Has at least 6 months experience successfully working in a fast-paced kitchen (Highly Preferred)
- Is able to lift 50+ pounds and operate efficiently in a small space
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
