Guardian is seeking enthusiastic energetic people to join our team of professionals to coordinate the delivery of interfacility patient transport and medical care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide timely and efficient dispatch coordination following established protocols.
• Relay information to and from medical transport crews.
• Communicate with other agency dispatchers, facility staff members, medical professionals, and other responders via phone, text, or radio.
• Perform duties with the highest level of professionalism, courtesy, and ethics.
• Coordinate with supervisors or medical facilities to resolve problems, and requests for services.
• Communicate with medical treatment facility staff, other EMS agencies, and our transport crews to coordinate, schedule, and track transports.
• Track and document all incoming requests for transport.
• Track and maintain awareness of crew progress and update medical facilities on estimated times of arrival.
• Coordinate with medical facilities to obtain and file physician statements of needs and pertinent patient information.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in the medical or Emergency Medical Services fields required.
• Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint).
• Must be capable of functioning in a highly fluid environment, juggling priorities, and interacting with multiple persons/agencies.
• Good written and excellent verbal communication skills in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
