Job Summary
Primary responsibility is the coordination of all deliveries. Responsible to work with salespeople, customers, yard manager and drivers to insure the timely, accurate delivery of materials to jobsites.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintain control and accuracy over all deliveries of materials leaving the yard for delivery.
- Coordinate and assign loads to pullers
- Communicate directly with salespeople, customers, and end product users to properly schedule deliveries to meet customer’s needs.
- Communicate and coordinate truck maintenance issues/needs with Yard Manager.
- Perform receiving documentation for incoming merchandise.
- Make every effort to meet customers’ expectations for timely deliveries.
- Work with the Yard Manager to insure that we maximize the deliveries we can make on any given day.
- Manage the dispatch log including assigning delivery times, drivers, loads on specific trucks and track the time taken on deliveries within BisTrack / Journey Planner
- Attend training sessions to learn and keep current on products we sell.
- Educate employees and customers on products we sell.
- Effectively handle customer complaints and warranty issues.
- Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
- Perform additional directly related appropriate duties as assigned.

- High School diploma required.
- Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds.
