Summary:

Theory Wellness operates state of the art cannabis cultivation and dispensing facilities in multiple states. As a member of our retail team, you will support the day-to-day retail operations in our recreational dispensaries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver world-class service to our valued guests

  • Execute full P&L leadership over all aspects of business in our location
  • Monitor scheduling, payroll, and budgets to help support retail operations
  • Help support grass-roots marketing and community engagement
  • Responsible for all performance functions in business to drive sales, adhere to metrics and drive KPIs
  • Support all facets of recruitment, hiring, team development, coaching and feedback
  • Ensure each guest is provided the highest possible level of service
  • Drive world-class team engagement, aligned with Theory values
  • Manage all opening and / or closing procedures, including daily cash and inventory reconciliations & financial/inventory reporting
  • Ensure compliance with the State of Ohio’s rules and regulations
  • Serve as Theory’s Designated Representative and communicate with the Board of Pharmacy, Inspectors, and other State officials. A designated representative may not serve this role for another company
  • Manage all aspects of inventory compliance including receiving, control, and reporting in the state portal
  • Ensure compliance in all recordkeeping and filing systems, to include ensuring Metrc compliance
  • Conduct internal investigations as needed with LP Manager, and control inventory shortages
  • Work with HR to ensure legal compliance with all applicable labor laws
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed as a Key Employee for the state of Ohio
  • 3+ years in retail management experience managing a fast-paced business
  • Experience managing a team of at least 5 or more individuals
  • Must be able to work variable hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • You are optimistic and have a can-do approach
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
  • You work best in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to solve unexpected problems quickly and under pressure
  • Strong systems, software and computer skills
  • High-energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Some travel may be required
  • No drug related felony; ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • College Degree desirable. High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver’s License
