Job Summary
Dispense prepares dining room for patrons by cleaning and clothing tables; setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils. The position entails protecting establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs. Supports wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners, and bus stations. Coses dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables from the facility. Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
Requirements:Responsibilities and Duties:
Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages
Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation
Follow health and safety guidelines
Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
Contribute to a positive team environment
The barback position is a pivotal support role for the service staff. It is a requirement to be proactive, and driven to help the service staff in order to provide excellent customer service.
Skills Required The applicant should have:
At least 1+ year in the coffee service industry
2+ years in the customer service industry
Experienced and comfortable with working busy shifts
Friendly, outgoing and dedicated to outstanding customer service
Tidy and self-disciplined
Detailed-oriented and passionate about product quality
