The District Manager is responsible for leading urgent care clinics in an assigned region through the execution of operating practices, workflow efficiency, and best in class patient experience. The District Manager develops and manages staff resources, manages the efficiency and effectiveness of daily administration and operations, and leads a team of Practice Managers within the region.

The District Manager will be required to travel to clinics within your region, to oversee the business operations. This may include over night travel occasionally. Additionally, the District Manager will have days that you will work remotely.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensures urgent care centers deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient every time. Works closely with the regional leadership team (Practice Managers, Clinical Team Leads and Providers) to ensure programs are effectively managed, staff are fully trained, and that patient service standards are met.
  • In coordination with Practice Managers supervisory and management responsibility for all teammates within region to include hiring, employee relations, performance, and professional development, mentoring and disciplinary actions.
  • Achieve financial performance targets such as revenue, labor, and supply management.
  • Lead in the building of a team that will embody the culture and communicate the meaning of our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Responsible for team member satisfaction and retention through practices that promote communications, rewards/recognition, teamwork, and administration of effective employee relations practices.
  • Enhance communication systems within the region to ensure effective communication up, down, and across the organization.
  • Ensure Practice Managers are responsible for the operational readiness, appearance, and presentation of their assigned urgent care centers.
  • Working through the defined management structure, drive initiatives that improve patient experience, reduce costs, enhance revenues, achieve effective utilization, and meet quality goals.
  • Responsible for holding staff to the highest integrity by adhering to all government and compliance policies.
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions in the region.
  • Recommend changes to deflect competitive pressures or to seize opportunity to capture greater market share.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years multi-site management experience (preferably in urgent care or physician practice operations) and P&L responsibility for a minimum of 3 locations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • All candidates are expected to be active and visible within their region€™s facilities, leading their teams by example.
  • Experience overseeing managers with direct reports is preferred.
