Store-level supervision for the overall operations of 4 Plato's Closet stores located in Naperville, Villa Park, Glendale Heights, and Crest Hill. Plato’s Closet buys and sells gently used teen/young adult clothing, shoes and accessories. We buy styles for all seasons, all day, every day, with no appointment necessary. This position travels to stores daily.

Position Purpose

Act as the liaison between the store management staff and the VP/franchise owner. Assist store management in managing and promoting all aspects of the business: buying, selling, pricing, merchandising, recruitment, training, and development of staff. Train and monitor company and store standards, policies, and procedures. Promote a high level of customer service and involvement, and continually strive for innovative solutions and alternatives in bettering the business.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Understands and complies with the Non-Negotiable Standards provided by Krieger Kiddie Corporation.

2. Monitor store managers’ execution- especially in four key areas of focus - buying used merchandise, staff management, customer service, and store maintenance and presentation.

3. Monitor store sales, gross and net profit forecasts, gross margin targets, expense and wage control. Utilize the reporting functions of each concept, as provided. Ensure stores meet their monthly, yearly sales and sales per labor hour goals.

4. Monitor training, implementation, and adherence of brand standards, policies, and procedures.

5. Assist store management in recruiting, hiring, training of staff. Utilize brand tools and techniques. Ensure each store has a management team including an Assistant Store Manager, Shift Supervisors and a bench.

6. Coach, monitor, and reward customer service standards using store supported techniques. Use customer reviews and social media reviews for teaching and training.

7. Monitor security procedures including computer cash registers, open/close procedures, banking and verify all store accounting with bookkeeping procedures given.

8. Utilize the tools and templates provided for coordinating local store advertising, marketing, social media and promotional opportunities as per direction of the Vice Presidents.

9. Run the required weekly and monthly reports and adhere to all deadlines.

10. Order Supplies and New product as needed, receive stock price as necessary.

11. Ensure store coverage within your district and required to work with corporate team in a crisis to ensure overall company success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
