District Program Bookkeeper Job at Northeast Health District
The Northeast Health District is seeking a Bookkeeper to perform paraprofessional accounting and fiscal control functions, including accounts payable and receivable, budget preparation and monitoring, inventory management, preparation of journal entries, and related general accounting processes.
Minimum Qualifications
Fin Ops Gen 1(FIT020): Associate’s degree in a business curriculum or related field from an accredited college or university OR High school diploma or GED AND Two years of experience performing accounting and/or fiscal control functions. Annual Salary: $40,000.
Fin Ops Gen 2(FIT021): Associate’s degree in a business curriculum or related field from an accredited college or university OR High school diploma or GED AND Three years of experience performing accounting and/or fiscal control functions. Annual Salary: $42,000.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in governmental or non-profit accounting
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Annual salary $40,000-$42,000 depending on qualifications, plus generous benefits include 13 paid holiday, annual and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement plans with 401(k) match.
This position is in Athens, GA, and does not offer relocation assistance. Must be within a reasonable commuting distance. If relocating to Athens, GA, please specify on the application.
