What You’ll Do:

Provide support, training, and leadership to management and service associates on processes, policies, and all other service initiatives. This position will be responsible for working with the store/service management teams in identifying operational training needs of service associates and coordinating and assisting the training of them on the proper Blain’s processes and procedures.

  • Responsible for assisting in all aspects of Advisor training, and having the responsibility of being the key contact person working with management and associates, as well as the liaison with other Blain’s functional teams
  • Provide oversight to automotive training initiatives (i.e., Service writing, work order accuracy, productivity coaching, VAST, customer experience, selling process etc.).
  • Monitor and measure quality effectiveness, and follow through of store’s automotive service training, mentoring and operations.
  • Assist with leadership for operational opportunity stores
    • Lead teams through the establishment of best practices, processes, and procedures (SOPs)
    • Assist with developing store talent including IDP’s and Operational Action Plans
    • Provide feedback regarding associate performance, training progress, and ability to perform their jobs
  • Assist with Store Operations and Company initiative projects as assigned
  • Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and Safety policies
What It Takes:
  • Previous automotive service selling experience required.
  • Strong understanding of automotive service operations and best practices.
  • Ability to travel and reside near stores for extended periods of time.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
