Position description
The Division Director of Sales & Services - Commercial Accounts will participate as a key member of the Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) Sales and Service Leadership Team (SSLT) representing the Commercial division. This position is responsible for both the sale and service side of the organization and:
  • Collaborates, develops and oversees specific specialty division strategies and managing all aspects of divisional performance.
  • Accountable for new business revenue generation, drive continued sales growth and profitability, establishing and training long-term business relationships, and understanding customer requirements that will create value for the customer.
  • Responsible to lead, coach, and develop sales, training and service staff capable of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Promotes Mayo Clinic's core values and supports community based health care and integrated delivery systems.
  • Travel is required up to 80% of the time.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business or related field and three years of experience in healthcare sales leadership or seven years of experience in healthcare sales.
  • Commercial Accounts Sales Leadership experience strongly preferred.
This position requires the incumbent to work in an office in their home located in the U.S. and near a major airport.

  • Must have strong strategic leadership skills.
  • Experience in developing sales strategies.
  • Must have strong organizational, human relations, presentation, and communications skills as well as excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be accountable, adaptable, flexible, creative, dependable, responsible, and able to perform well within multi-functional environments.
  • Must be able to develop strategic plans, manage leaders of teams as well as individual contributors and projects simultaneously and to exercise appropriate judgment when developing, deploying and/or overseeing plans, projects and tasks while adhering to Mayo Clinic and MCS policies and procedures.

License or certification
FACHE certification preferred. Valid Driver License Required.

Compensation Detail
Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The salary range every 2 weeks is approx. $6,420.8‬0-$9,631.2‬0 based on a full-time position.
