Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
As the Digital Loss Prevention (DLP) Team Lead, you will play a critical role in helping AMD’s Insider Threat Program detect, monitor, and mitigate potential data loss arising from employee conduct. You will provide day-to-day management for a team of DLP analysts providing 24x7 monitoring, while also coordinating with investigators looking at data loss incidents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide high-level Insider Threat support to DLP analysts providing initial triage and appropriate escalation of potential data loss incidents to help investigate and mitigate any potential loss.
  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) in protecting strategic information related to engineering, export controls from Insider Threats.
  • Assist in compiling and subsequently monitoring a list of potential high-risk users.
  • Triage DLP alerts and incidents related to individuals selected for the list.
  • Drive, develop and document of new processes, SOPs and procedures for rules, detections, alerts and policies to support and reduce the Insider Threat risk and alerts detections by the DLP team.
  • Provide training for DLP/CASB team members.
  • Identify potential use cases and work to refine DLP/CASB criteria to minimize false-positive alerts.
  • Partner with appropriate business units, including InfoSec, Physical and Corporate Investigation (where appropriate) on incident escalations and investigations.
  • Collaborate with Incident Management Team (IMT), SIEM Admin, CASB Engineering, CSIRT team on enhancements, fixes and changes to improve the Insider Threat detection use cases.
  • Assist in the harmonization process for Insider Threat programs during the mergers and acquisition process.
  • Provide useful DLP/CASB metrics for use in briefing senior officials regarding the effectiveness of the program.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in cyber security, insider threat, or counterintelligence.
  • Proficiency in using/refining DLP/CASB tools, especially SIEM.
  • Working knowledge/expertise in conducting investigations and coordinating with investigators.
  • Prior management/team lead experience, especially in working with a contract workforce.

LOCATION: US Remote


COMPENSATION RANGE:

Expected to range from $126,320 - 189,480, commensurate with experience and specific skill sets.
