Position Objectives

The primary focus of this position will be to handle DMV transactions while providing excellent customer service to the public. Work schedule will be 8:30 to 5:30 with an hour lunch.

Duties & Responsibilities

To perform a variety of duties involved in the tag office

• Processing Renewals and Titles

• Processing Stock, Answering Phone Calls, Balancing a Cash Drawer

• Clearing Insurance Lapses

• Distributing License Plates and Handicap Placards

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of current laws, methods and procedures of the DMV

• Ability to operate a computer

• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with taxpayers and co-workers

• Some light lifting may be required - 20lbs

Desirable Training and Experience

This is a demanding position that requires a good work ethic and frequent contact with the public. The employee will be expected to be at work and on time as scheduled. Customer service, speed and accuracy, and maintaining confidential records are the paramount qualifications for this position.
