About the Job

The grooming role will serve the full servicing grooming needs at Camp Bow Wow Lindenhurst/ Primary focus will be the full hair trims, but assistance in bathing and nail trims may be required on occasion. We expect candidates for this position to have the trimming and shearing skills necessary to fulfill client expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver superior grooming services to Camp clientele
• Provide customer service to grooming clientele
• Monitor grooming inventory
• Support marketing and promotional ideas within Camp

Requirements

• Successful completion of a reputable grooming school curriculum or equivalent experience
• Grooming salon experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Possess excellent dog handling skills; from large to small, easy to difficult, and the various personalities that comes with the pups
• Able to meet the demands of a physically and mentally challenging job
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Patience

Availability

• Full time availability is preferred. Schedule can be flexible.
