Donation Attendant Job at South Suburban Humane Society
The Second Chance Resale Shop in Steger is a thrift store that benefits the pets and programs of the South Suburban Humane Society. We are hiring immediately for a Donation Assistant who would work Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Providing excellent customer service to donors dropping off donations including assisting with getting items out of their vehicles and providing donation receipts
-Hauling broken/damaged/unsellable merchandise to our dumpsters
-Sorting items for sale as requested
-Assisting with merchandising as requested
Must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. Must be able to lift over your head with full range of shoulder motion. Must be comfortable on your feet all day. Must be comfortable in all weather conditions from rain to heat to snow. This is a very physically demanding position.
