DRAFTER-ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

ANNUAL SALARY [ $50,000 ]

STANDARD OFFICE HOURS
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 5:00pm
Every other Saturday 6:00am - 2:00pm

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

• Use AutoCAD & Microvellum Software to Generate Millwork + Casework Shop Drawings.
• Review Architectural Drawings, Specs, Addenda to Reconcile Discrepancies between Architect/Engineer Plans and Company’s Standard Manufacturing Processes.
• Generate Initial RFI’s to Submit with Shop Drawings.
• Continuously Update Shop Drawings to Reflect Revisions per RFI’s, CPR’s, & ASI’s.
• Provide Cut Lists for the Production Team.
• Establish and Control Conditions of Production to Maximize the Efficiency of Production and Ensure Effective Labor and Equipment Utilization.
• Focus on Vision of Continuous Improvement in all parts of the Business: People, Costs, Production, Safety, Environment, Quality, Image, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Contribute to the Development of the Company to Deliver Quality Products & Processes.
• Foster a Working Environment of Continuous Improvement, Consistent and Clear Communication of Requirements, and Standards/Procedures.
• Focus on Vision of Continuous Improvement in all parts of the Business: People, Costs, Production, Safety, Environment, Quality, Image, and Customer Satisfaction.
• Interface with Management, Business Development, Sales, & Finance functions.
• Contribute to the Development of the Company to Deliver Quality Products & Processes.

KEY SKILLS:

• AutoCAD Proficiency.
• Microvellum Software experience preferred, but not required [ will train ].
• Microsoft Office Proficiency.
• Manufacturing Engineering Knowledge preferred [ Experience in the manufacturing of casework & millwork within primary area of Educational Facilities preferred ]
• The Ability to Independently Exercise Business Judgment as to Important Tasks, while always Considering the Customers’ and Company’s Best Interests.
• Strong Problem Solving skills, Decision Making, & Sound Business Judgment.
• The Ability to Prioritize Tasks Among and Between Projects and Communicate those Priorities.
• Quality Management & Delivering to Customer Requirements.
