Drawer finisher Job at Daniel's Amish Collection LLC
In our drawer factory located in Mt Eaton, OH, we build drawer boxes from start to finish. Sheets of plywood are manually cut into strips using a table saw, and then cut into smaller lengths with a chop saw. After that step, a machine cuts dovetails into the ends of the cut pieces, which are used to interlock the corners, creating a very strong joint. 1/4" thick plywood is used for bottoms, and is installed at the same time as the sides are interlocked to form the complete drawer box.
Completed drawer boxes are then coated with a clear coat of finish, and stacked for shipping to our facility in Killbuck, OH.
Job duties include:
- operating a sander to smooth out drawers
- operating a finish sprayer
- Being able to communicate well with others
