The team at Universal Contracting & Solar is seeking a material runner/laborer to Assist Project Managers in the field. Must have a valid drivers license and class A & B CDL required) and able to help wherever is needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Deliver product and material to and from job sites.
• Clean up debris at job site as needed: wood, metal, scraps, siding, shingles etc.
• Load and unload material from vehicles and trailers.
• Complete maintenance logs on vehicles and trailers.
• Wash and clean trucks and trailers.
• Provides consistently high-quality service and results
• Represents the company in a professional manner in all dealings with customers, personnel, and the public
• Maintains vehicles and report any discrepancies to management.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Proven experience as a Driver.
• A valid driver's license.
• Clean driving records - must be insurable under company policy.
• Familiarity with GPS devices.
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and material.
• Ability to remain clam in traffic and high stress scenarios
• Have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to see, hear, and communicate audibly with others.
• Collect supply, equipment, and/or parts orders from various suppliers & Job sites
• Return supply, equipment and/or parts orders and/or rentals to suppliers & Job sites
• MUST be willing to work hard, can multi-task, be proactive and manage time well.
