Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage 100+ on and off-premise accounts and independently navigate territory route schedule
  • Organize and distribute product samples and marketing materials to new and existing accounts
  • Consult with account buyers during weekly meetings to manage inventory and negotiate the sale
of new and existing portfolio items
  • Maintain or exceed all weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas and product placement
objectives for draft and packaged products
  • Build rapport with customers and develop lifelong partnerships
  • Support on and off-site local marketing plans and initiatives to increase guest traffic
  • Coordinate with accounts to schedule pint nights, beer dinners, or other promotional events
  • Train and educate account buyers and support staff on our unique beer qualities and vibrant
brand; provide any customer service follow up and answer any/all questions in a timely manner
  • Follow up with customers daily through email, text, and phone
  • Facilitate customer product trainings to review our beer features, special pricing, and new or
upcoming releases
  • Perform quality control checks to oversee company product is within code and aligns with our self-
distributing standards; independently troubleshoot any unforeseen product issues
  • Work with upper management to implement and build successful sales strategies
  • Manage own calendar, track sales data, account balances and keep accurate records
  • Work with EKOS software to maintain accurate sales and inventory integrity
  • Submit budget expenditures related to sales and promotional efforts

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • An interest and love of craft beer
  • Must be able to work autonomously and be self-motivated
  • Demonstrate professionalism and collaborate with sales teammates
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure or when dealing with disgruntled customers
  • Ability to adjust to changing schedules and priorities

Education & Experience:

  • Must have 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the craft beverage market
  • Advanced computer knowledge, specifically Gmail, Google Drive, Google calendar, Microsoft
Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of EKOS software is a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle to service sales
territory
  • Must be able to critically assess beer quality
  • Ability to work nights/weekends as needed

Work Environment:

  • Duties are performed in both indoor and outdoor settings
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
  • Occasionally exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions; outside weather conditions; extreme
cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock
  • Chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other

reproductive harm may be present at the worksite

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds without assistance and maneuver 144 pounds safely with proper
body mechanics
  • Moving of beer with carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment
  • This position will require you to stand, walk, and be on your feet for long periods
  • Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions
  • Regularly communicates and must be able to exchange accurate information
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral

vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
