Job Title: Editor

Location: Remote

Job Summary: Editor is essential in assisting the Editor in Chief to oversee the magazines' production process for print, online, e-newsletters, social channels - and ensuring all deadlines are met - as well as other content, multimedia, and special project duties.

Primary Objectives: Keep monthly magazines, online content, e-newsletters and other special projects running smoothly, ensuring all deadlines are met and that the content meets the highest standard of quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing all aspects of print and digital magazine production process
• Write/edit and post web news to BASE
• Help create sponsored content/native lead gen promotions, ensuring they appear in right newsletters/social media for the correct duration of time per client agreement
• Edit and post exclusive online only content
• Post digital content to social media channels as assigned.
• Manage new product selection for magazine/online
• Help with special projects as assigned
• Assist in managing Product Innovation Awards, overseeing outside freelancer and ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Write non-technical feature articles or departments as assigned.
• Help manage all aspects of monthly print and digital content production, editing/proofreading and posting
• Solicit content for, write web news for, and send out e-newsletters
• Manage sponsored content/lead gen promotions
• Help coordinate Product Innovation Awards
• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, communication, multi-media (video and podcast editing), social media, web content creation and some HTML, layout (InDesign), powerpoint, familiarity with all Adove Creative Cloud applications, professional interaction with readers, advertisers, and industry people
• Minimum bachelor's of journalism, English or equivalent
