Twin Oaks Academy is searching for applicants to work in residential setting. The goal of this program is for is to timely reunify unaccompanied alien children with their families, in a caring, understanding, and compassionate setting. We are seeking people that have experience in the human services field, and are looking for individuals who speak Spanish. Our agency is a non-profit that has been working with youth, providing guidance and service to them, for over 20 years. Please see all available position posted. Only serious inquiries need apply.

Education Coordinator Summary:

• Performs function necessary to academically instruct youth.
• Plans and conducts classes for students that correspond with ability and limitations of the class.
• Creates and implements all instructional activities.
• Plans and conducts classes for students that correspond with ability and limitations of the class.
• Checks and reviews the overall educational program and related activities in compliance with policy and maintenance of standards.
• Adjusts materials and curriculum to the individual differences of the students.
• Counsels and advises students on academic, social, and a variety of personal problems.
• Supervises Certified Teachers and others engaged in teaching academic and Pre-vocational courses as well as providing educational counseling service.

Education Coordinator General Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Current state driver’s license
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or University or college in the educational field of study preferred.
• Three or more years of successful teaching experience preferred.
• ESE Certification
• Permanent certification must be obtained within 36 months to remain in Position.
• Meet criminal background check and drug screening per state requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
