Our school is located in Brookeville, Maryland. The school is a 12 month program year round.

We are currently looking for Full Time and Part Time Teacher Assistant to join our team.

Teacher Assistant will work directly with students between the age range of 6-21 years old in a classroom environment.

Schedule and shift: Monday - Friday: 8 AM – 4 PM, 40 hours a week.

Compensation: $19.00 hourly

Basic Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma
• Must have a valid state issued U.S. driver license
• Must have your own reliable transportation vehicle to get to the site.
• Must be comfortable driving our company car.

Responsibilities

• Assists Special Education Teacher in planning and implementation of the daily schedule; participates in selected activities in the schedule as needed. Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team as appropriate for each student.
• Follows and implements student’s behavioral program and care plans at all times.
• Assists teacher in ordering, purchasing, and making appropriate instructional materials. Assists teacher in maintaining classroom records and instructional and behavioral data.
• Must be proficient in using computers and laptops, and are able to communicate by email if necessary and document clients or students daily agenda and behavior assessments.
