Job Description

Incumbent will provide production support for the Electrical Engineering group in a varied array of projects related to high voltage/low voltage, control systems, sensors, data acquisition, and electronics.

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of final electrical assembly and integrated system testing for the Well Servicing Products production line.
  • Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and controls while adhering to documented procedures in accordance with production schedules.
  • Determine basic analog and digital circuit operation from interpretation of CAD drawings, specifications, schematic diagrams, and test procedures.
  • Apply fundamental service techniques and appropriate follow through in providing electrical support/instruction to customers or less experienced technical personnel.
  • Ability to travel domestically, not normally to exceed 15%, is a requirement.

Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Electronics - Electrical Technology, or equivalent Electronics Technician experience; military training is a plus.

Other Requirements

  • Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment consisting of test and design engineers, manufacturing technicians, and assembly.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills are a necessity.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or some weekends.
  • Working knowledge of electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, DVM's, power supplies, and function generators.
  • Ability to use software tools for data analysis, reporting, and installation of equipment firmware. Basic proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus. Basic AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical editing skills are a plus.
