Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job at Peak Technical Staffing USA
Job Description:
Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm, Must be able to work overtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more. Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications.
- Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements
- Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and vernie. Read and interpreted electrical schematics. Wire the electrical systems (single and three phase).
- Wire panels, relays, and fuses. Work with 110 volt and 220 volt AC systems and with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in electronics/electrical or related field degrees or 5 years of industrial work experience in relevant electrical field
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
- PLC, DCS, and VD experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and stand for continuous periods of time
- Available for on-call duty
