About This Position
This position is tasked with providing electronic technical support for test and measurement equipment to customers and product teams.Responsibilities
- Responsible for prompt technical support to Product Teams and Customers.
- Receives calls, open cases, and resolve customer needs on equipment issues.
- Logs all activity in CRM case history and schedules required tasks into CRM.
- Plans and directs rental orders failed in field (FIF).
- Submits billing tickets for credits warranted do to FIF.
- Assists in activities required for Product Teams to quote an order.
- Provides staff with assistance in performing technical support and research.
- Consults with the Quality Manager and Lab Manager to accurately identify problem.
- Consults with product manufacturers as necessary.
- Follows up with customers at a later date to ensure their satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Associate’s degree in an electronic discipline preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills via phone and email
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail
Experience
36 3 Years (Minimum)- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electronic repair, maintenance of test equipment, technical support
Education
Associate Degree Required- Associate’s degree in an electronic discipline preferred
