The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing.

• Troubleshoots electronics down to the component level to determine cause and remedy of any malfunctions. Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a machine or a piece of equipment.
• Performs required repairs to return unit to operational state.
• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems to determine route cause of issue and recommend a corrective action.
• Sets up and tests units to meet specified requirements. Inspects all work before passing on to the next operation.
• Recognizes failures and set up problems, isolates problems, and takes appropriate action resolve those problems.
• Operates oscilloscopes, generators, meters, power supplies, service monitors and test fixtures, and understands their use and function.
• Keeps supervisor abreast of all unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect production schedules.
• Provides support to the maintenance and electrical staff on projects and assignments, and works in other departments.
• Use computerized maintenance system system to interpret work schedules, enter work orders, perform system transactions, etc. Document and track records of maintenance on machinery and/or equipment; document and track cost of repairs machinery and/or equipment. Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Use proper Lockout Tagout procedures during any activity such as repairing, adjusting, lubricating, or cleaning.
• Maintain a good attendance record and adhere to the Attendance Policy. Adhere to Company Handbook, policies, and procedures.
• Strictly comply with all operating and safety procedures and rules as may be implemented by the company, and immediately alert management of any unsafe condition
• Perform any other task deemed necessary or requested by supervisor .
• Follow all operating and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S procedure, rules, and regulations. Alert Management of any unsafe condition such as chemical spill and/or airborne contaminates.
• Review machinery and access and/or recommend for improvement of function or efficiency of machinery and equipment in the plant.
• Train employees on forklift, pallet jack, beam truck, crane/hoist, and aerial lift operations. Assist in other departments as needed.
• Professional behavior is required during working hours, while on customer's sites and while traveling for Fenner Dunlop business.

Responsible for electronic design and repair on all electronic components, software and equipment used to produce woven fabric. Analyze facility needs and determine the requirements, capacity, and cost for developing an electrical system plan.

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

Associate Degree in Industrial Electronics or 4+ years’ experience in Industrial Electronics

Journeyman’s Card or 8+ years’ experience and Associate Degree in Industrial Electronics

Sound knowledge of electronic hardware design and its life cycle. Immense ability to resolve all electronics engineering problems in the designing process.

2+ years related experience in Industrial Maintenance

Experience in working with Textile equipment (i.e...., Weaving, Twisting, Spinning, or Yarn Preparation)

Experience working with a computerized Maintenance Management System
