Elementary Secretary Job at Teach Iowa
Southeast Elementary School is currently accepting applications to fill an Elementary Secretary vacancy to start late February, 2023.
Essential Functions:
- Welcome and assist students, parents, and staff
- Answer the main telephone line for the school for the purpose of screening calls, transferring calls, responding to inquiries, and/or taking messages
- Assists with school registration and end-of-year duties
- Coordinates daily absences, record keeping, family communication, and attendance/tardy policies
- Create and distribute monthly school newsletter
- Provide medical attention, and administer first-aid to sick or injured students
- Responsible for maintaining student files, including Infinite Campus
- Assist with assigning substitutes to open vacancies
- Order school and classroom supplies
- Record keeping of school financial accounts
- Lead and direct daily facility usage for visitors and staff
