Animal Clinic Northview, Inc is a 30 doctor, 24-hr emergency, AAHA accredited veterinary practice located west of Cleveland in North Ridgeville. We are currently seeking to fill a full and part-time position as an overnight receptionist / emergency receptionist. Hours are from 5:00pm - 3am, . Previous animal care or veterinary clinic experience is required. We provide high quality, compassionate, state-of-the-art care.
Duties include but are not limited to: greeting and checking in clients and patients, providing information and educating clients, billing out clients, rooming and weighing patients for doctors, answering phone lines, cleaning rooms and keep our waiting area clean and more. The job is performed in a clinic setting with regular exposure to animals.
Applicants must be able to:
- Handle emergency situations calmly, professionally and quickly
- Carry up to 40 pounds
- Communicate effectively and professionally - Both written and verbal
- Be organized and detailed oriented
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Be compassionate and patient
- Multi-task in a fast paced and unpredictable environment
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Work well with all team members
