Farmers Home Furniture is seeking an Employee Relations Assistant to help provide support to our retail store locations for all employee relation matters. Farmers has since become one of the fastest growing furniture retailers, with over 250 store locations throughout the Southeast. Job Description:

  • Participates in the investigative process for complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other employment issues; coordinates with management to determine appropriate course of action.
  • Writes employee counselings and memos and forwards to manager; conducts, assists and/or serves as a witness to employee counseling as needed.
  • Provides guidance and interpretation of company policy and procedures to management and employees.
  • Maintains working knowledge of company policies and employment law.
  • Conducts quarterly training for store managers.
  • Performs a variety of administrative tasks such as data entry, taking phone calls, creating reports, etc.

Occasional overnight travel may be required.
