MCEMS provides both urban and rural response, exposing the medic to a wide variety of calls responding from one of six stations throughout the county. Each station is set up to be your “home away from home” with cable TV’s, bedrooms, full kitchen, living areas and bathrooms with shower. Each station has free Wi-Fi and internet access.

DMRT (Disaster Medical Response Team) - the DMRT Team members are responsible for the eastern half of Oklahoma and beyond for deploying medical assets to disaster areas. The DMRT medics have responded out of state to hurricanes and to several tornados here in our state. They also are responsible for special events when team assets are being utilized.

TEMS (Tactical Emergency Medical Services)- A team of medics with training in tactical EMS response. These medics train with the local S.O.T. *(Special Operations Team) and respond with them on calls.

C.O.A.C.H.E.S. - Caring for ourselves & Others Affected by Critical Happenings and Everyday Stressors. The COACHES™ team is our very own, national award winning, peer-support program. The COACHES™ team is based on basic principles from the fields of psychology, sociology, and traumatology. Specifically, it is a peer support program that was designed to address the specific needs of Muskogee County EMS personnel as they meet the demands and challenges unique to the field of emergency medicine.
