As a first point of contact for all new Carrier deployments, the Engagement Specialist I sets the tone of the first experiences our clients have with our service. The Engagement Specialist works with new clients to onboard administrative training for new products.
This position requires a keen sense of prioritization, excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The individual who fills this role needs to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment. This role works very closely with our Sales, Advisory Services, Engineering and Product departments to ensure our partners have the well-rounded knowledge, resources, and support they need to be successful as a provider of our suite of HR solutions.
This role will also support existing clients with additional administration training as needed, ongoing technical integrations, bulk uploads, provide custom user reporting, assist with tailored branding of content materials and general administrative role changes.

You will:

    • Be the single point of contact for onboarding and implementation of all new clients in a market
    • Make calls into employer groups to schedule demonstrations of product/platform
    • Keep onboarding demo pipeline full by proactively reaching out to new clients through calling
    • Setup of new partner portals and edits of existing partner portals, including any custom branding or edits required
    • Assist with bulk user and client uploads to set up clients in platform
    • Provide custom user and/or platform reports as needed for partner
    • Partner with Customer Support, Account Managers, Product, Advisory Services, and Engineering to capture product feedback and stay up to date on platform changes
    • Track and document applicable fields within Salesforce and other internal tools to ensure pertinent information is reaching the correct teams and workspaces
    • Provide monthly updates on goals and KPIs for tracking and goal attainment to manager and utilization data to client
    • Perform other duties as assigned

You have:

    • One or more years of experience working in customer service, administrative, and/or sales environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including active listening and ability to adapt to different communication styles
    • Effective customer service skills with a professional sense of compassion for difficult situations
    • Computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Office skills, email, and internet
    • Ability to manage heavy volume of phone communication
    • Ability to organize and efficiently manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
    • Ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team

    • Preferred:
    • Experience contacting companies and individuals via phone in a high-volume capacity to generate new business or raise awareness preferred, but not required
    • Experience in the insurance industry preferred, but not required
    • Associate’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation Range

At Mineral, our compensation philosophy and practices are aligned with our commitment to pay equity and transparency. We determine total compensation packages with an intentional analysis of a candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and job-related competencies, and consideration of internal equity.

In order to offer competitive, market-based pay, our pay ranges are informed by geographic location.
Target Hiring Range:
Geo G – (Examples: San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA): $23 - $28/hour
Geo E – (Examples: Portland,OR;Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC;Denver, CO): $20 - $24/hour
Geo M – (Examples: Milwaukee, WI; Orlando, FL; Nashville, TN;San Antonio, TX): $18 - $22/hour
The Engagement Specialist I role is also eligible for on target variable compensation of 15% of base pay.
