As a software engineer, you will be responsible for: Developing, testing, and deploying applications, participating in architecture and code reviews, helping to prioritize features and bug fixes, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams at Thermofisher, leading in the pursuit and delivery of the best possible product.

Job Functions:

  • Define and develop verifiable requirements and software designs.
  • Develop technical documentation for software architecture, design, and verification plans.
  • Define and develop software requirements, architectures and designs suited or fault-tolerant systems.
  • Participate in all aspects of software development, systems integration, test execution, issue resolution, and reviews.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with software, hardware, and test engineers across the team.

Essential Experience/Skills:

  • Software Engineer with 0 - 2 years of experience
  • Basic programming skills in HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Basic understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, learn new technologies, cut through ambiguity, and deliver results
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and time management skills
  • Ability to express ideas clearly within the team and across departments
  • Be able to step up when situation demands such as meeting deadlines and critical production issues.
  • Be flexible to work with some overlapping work overs if needed and attend onshore calls.
  • Regular day to day job responsibilities does not involve travel.
