JOB SUMMARY:
The Entertainment Production Supervisor will be assisting in coordinating, managing, and overseeing all aspects of park events and daily operations as they apply to the Entertainment department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all team members adhere to the set schedules, including clocking in/out for shifts and breaks
- Assist the Admin. Managerial Supervisor and the Entertainment Manager with scheduling, hiring, and onboarding team members
- Assist in training new team members on operating procedures for events and daily park operation
- Assist Entertainment Supervisors, cast, crew, and ushers to execute top-quality performances
- Assist Entertainment Supervisors as needed to ensure all aspects of the venue/location are prepped and in operational order for each event or performance
- Ensure all aspects of Entertainment events begin promptly and on time
- Works with other departments as needed to execute top-quality events and productions
- Clearly communicate general information and direction to team members and guests
- Work as a production runner for the Entertainment supervisor staff during changes of events and operation
- Assist in processing vendor paperwork and invoices
- Must adhere to the grooming guidelines
- See that all daily paperwork is being completed by support staff (show reports/time sheets/dispute forms)
- Report any issues to the Entertainment Manager
- Assists with task in the park or venue as needed or deemed necessary
- Other duties, task, or projects as assigned by Admin. Managerial Supervisor or Entertainment Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Be available to work flexible hours at nights, overnights, holidays, and on weekends.
- Must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week.
- React well in stressful and emergency situations.
- Possess above-average communication skills.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Be safety conscious, while also outgoing with a friendly demeanor.
- Be willing to actively engage guests.
- Possess computer skills including the office suite and web-based programs.
- Strong sense of initiative and excellent organizational skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Continued standing, kneeling, and bending.
- Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech. Manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition.
- Stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day; walk over 3 miles per day over various surfaces.
- Lift and carry 25 lbs. over 25 feet over various surfaces; lift and lower 5 lbs. above shoulder level.
- Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 8 feet in height.
