A very large worldwide John Deer Contractor is looking to add
an Entry Level Quality Inspector in the Des Moines area. This person will primarily work in Des Moines but will also need to travel on occasion to Ottumwa and Waterloo IA.
MUST have a clean driver's license and a decent vehicle. All mileage will be reimbursed at the current government rate.
Job Duties include but are not limited to: Checking/Inspecting manufactured parts or products for defects. Reading and following basic work instructions and general processes. Use of various measuring tools and testing equipment. Ensuring products meet quality standards. You must have a good attitude with good customer service skills. You do not need to have great computer skills for this position. The ability to read blueprints is a plus but not required. You really only need the ability to learn and you can go far with this company. There is plenty of upward movement available as this position is an entry-level position with them.
You must have a reasonable criminal background and be able to pass a drug test to apply.
