EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
The County of Page is accepting applications for the full-time position of Equipment Operator. Job responsibilities include operating large, heavy mobile equipment, performing routine maintenance, grading on-site roads and landfill surfaces, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and performing ground maintenance functions. Applicant must be dependable and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and possession of an appropriate commercial driver’s license valid in the Commonwealth of Virginia with Air Brake Certification Class B is required. The ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with associates and the general public is required. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and experience in the operation of heavy equipment is required. Salary range is $33,280 - $37,440, depending on experience - plus paid vacation, retirement, and health insurance.
