Loader Operator - Soils Department - Longview, WA

Summary/Purpose:

The Operator is responsible for mixing ingredients by bucket loader to create custom soils

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate Front End Loader in a safe and appropriate manner to gather ingredients and mix piles to create specialized soils.
• Read custom ingredients lists to accurately mix soil ingredients
• Meet required production schedule as provided by department supervisor
• Communicate concerns with ingredient supplies, equipment issues, and other production concerns
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Promote, execute and adhere to company safety program while operating heavy machinery.
• Promote a team approach and maintain communication within the Soils Department as well as other departments to effectively meet production goals.
• Keeps work environment clean, safe and positive.

Minimum Requirements:

• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with moderate to little supervision.
• High level of integrity.
• Quality and safety conscious.
• Able to handle stress and sudden production changes.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Dependable and on time.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to reach, squat, bend.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Pay: Hourly - $17.50-19/hr depending on experience
