Overview:
Runs dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks or other types of large equipment used for paving or moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone and/or asphalt materials. Conducts routine daily inspections of equipment and maintains equipment in a clean and safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Loads trucks, feeds bins with various aggregate material
- Maintains proper quantities of materials to be loaded
- Moves earth or other material from one location to another
- May perform paving/grading work.
- Keeps equipment clean and orderly.
- Performs daily pre and post-trip inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Ensures that safety, compliance, and environmental requirements are followed at all times.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education: High School diploma/GED
Work Experience:
One (1) to two (2) years of experience required.
