Interstates is currently searching for ambitious, innovative individuals to join our family as a Construction Manufacturing Estimator. Your role will be to work with our team of construction manufacturing professionals and provide accurate and efficient cost estimates for projects.
The pay range for this opening is between $60,000 - $90,000 (DOE)
Position Summary:
The estimating department is responsible for producing project-specific estimates based on written and/or oral instructions from our clients. Your role in this process will be as follows:
- Primary responsibility is to develop accurate and timely electrical assembly estimates for our client-base customers
- Analyze and interpret drawings and specifications
- Determine and price value-engineered alternatives to plans and specifications
- Perform budget pricing from schematic drawings and narrative
- Draft proposals and vendor solicitations
- Work under deadline pressures in an efficient, composed, and calm manner
Additional Essential Functions:
- Work alongside manufacturing leaders
- Help create and communicate company standards for manufacturing estimating
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with MS Office required, estimating software preferred
- Team player, self-motivated, willing to help others
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Manufacturing or Electrical Construction experience preferred
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
