Overview:
Reporting to the Art & Culture Director, MINT dentistry’s Events Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of all large and small-scale events both internal and external. You will support the full event lifecycle and all pre to post-event responsibilities from conception, planning, and preparation, to execution and reporting. Event elements will often include staffing, vendor communication/coordination, and production. This is an onsite position located in Downtown Dallas, Texas.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with strategy, development, and execution of MINT dentistry's marketing and culture events (internal and external)
  • Assist with research, vetting agencies, venues, and vendors, and presenting top choices for approval to department leads
  • Participate in brainstorming meetings
  • Help identify themes for events that correlate to overall brand initiatives and priorities
  • Development and management of event calendars
  • Manage shared internal resources and external vendors, including cross-functional teams and external agencies
  • Help manage communications, logistics, and timelines with agencies, freelancers, logistics, programming, talent, and production for events while ensuring all remain within budget
  • Liaise with finance, strategy, and legal departments to process contracts and payments
  • Travel to events and external meetings as needed
  • Assist with event recaps and optimization suggestions
  • Available Nights & Weekends when necessary
  • Onsite position located in Downtown Dallas, Texas.
  • The position may require 50-60% travel
  • Able to perform other professional duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or Communications (Not required)
  • 2-3+ years of experience planning and executing events of varying sizes
  • Ability to manage external vendor resources and relationships
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present in group settings
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and duties
  • Team player who is adept at navigating and managing cross-functional teams and relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, with expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote
  • Knowledge of social media is a plus
