Description:

Your CBD Store Maitland is looking for an outgoing and dependable event coordinator.

We run at least one event either at the store or outside the store per month with as much as 2 events per week, these include concerts, fairs, farmers markets, fitness expos, pet expos, supplement expos, competitions, sporting events, etc.

Most of our events are in the Orlando area, but we also sponsor several events all around Florida so some travel will be required. The events are intended to promote the brand and drive sales during the event.

Sales can range between $500 to $5000 per day where some events are multiple day.

Most events are on the weekends, but some events might fall during weekdays so schedules need to be flexible.

Events can run from a couple of hours to 8 hours per day

The majority of our events are fitness competitions and fitness expos, so the candidate must be comfortable talking about fitness and health.

Desired Skills:

• Outgoing individual with direct sales experience
• Dependable since there will be inventory and transaction management
• Ability to plan and coordinate tasks
• Comfortable driving distances within Florida
• Ability to carry boxes that weigh as much as 25 lbs

Responsibilities:

• Find events in the central Florida area where CBD can be sold
• Reserve vendor/sponsor spots
• Setup tent, table, displays, and product
• Market events to customers and local communities
• Coordinate event logistics such as payments, travel, setup, and pickup
• Manage inventory for event
• Run sales during the event
• Hire assistance if necessary for larger events
• Setup travel logistics for events that are 2+ hours
• Provide event report

Compensation

• It includes one flat salary per event plus commission based on profits from the event.
• Travel expenses will be paid which include transportation, accommodations, and meals.

Training

• There will be a paid 2 week training program at the store and you would shadow an event coordinator during the first events.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $13.00 - $30.00 per hour

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Self-determined schedule
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Experience:

• Events management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
