PRODUCTION CREW

• WHAT WE DO

Eclectic Hive is an event design company that curates and designs the decor for weddings, corporate, and social events in Colorado and surrounding states.

• POSITION SUMMARY

The Event Crew is a team of laborers that execute the installation and teardown of events. This includes furniture, bars, shelving, temporary backdrops, residential lighting fixtures, custom buildouts and more. This position requires someone who enjoys being on their feet for long hours, physically moving furniture for long periods of time. This opportunity allows for travel within Colorado and surrounding states. You will be a part of of the team that brings events to life in a variety of different settings.

Note: Requires availability for days, nights, AND weekends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to be a team player and always work in a team environment

• Pulls and preps inventory for safe transport to and from event sites

• Loads and unloads inventory from and into box trucks

• Inspects condition of inventory for damages or items that need repairs and reports any issues to a supervisor

• Moves inventory into and out of event location using carts, hand trucks, and hand-carrying on a consistent basis

• Cleans inventory with appropriate solution and technique

• Receives direction and works under close supervision of the Production Lead and Production Manager to ensure accuracy.

• Ability to safely lift up to 325 pounds with assistance

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• A minimum of one year of experience in event industry preferred

• Ability to safely drive and load a 26’ box truck

• Clean MVR

• Requires domestic travel to locations within Colorado and surrounding states

• Must have a flexible schedule which will include nights, holidays, and weekends

• Comfortable working on an A-frame ladder

• Special skills such as wood working, furniture repair, painting, and power tool are a plus

• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
