This position is a rare (and fun!) opportunity to help shape the future of AI and its real-world impact. We are an equal opportunity employer and believe strongly in front-end ethics: building a company and industry where strong performance and a positive human impact are inextricably linked.

About the role

Arthur is looking for an experienced executive assistant to support our CEO/Founder, as well as other members of our leadership team. In this role, the EA will focus on providing an exceptional experience that will allow our leadership team to focus on strategic growth. The right candidate thrives on being an effective gatekeeper who is eager to build and maintain strong relationships, has a "get things done" mentality, and is able to think two steps ahead to anticipate the needs of their working partners.

What you'll do

  • Effectively manage complex calendar and travel needs for the CEO, and for other members of the leadership team as needed / requested
  • Efficiently schedule meetings with key stakeholders (i.e., existing customers, potential customers, prospective partners, and investors), and build strong rapport with key stakeholders' support teams
  • Manage internal leadership and team meetings (including scheduling, attendee management, agenda creation, and note-taking)
  • Own the planning / execution of key stakeholder-focused events, and provide supplementary assistance for company events planned by the Operations team (e.g., off-sites, all-hands meetings, team events, org-wide events, celebrations, etc.)
  • Manage expense reports and relevant event/meeting budgets
  • Assist the CEO/Founder and leadership team in creating and sharing internal communications and announcements, executive presentations, data reports, and other means of written / visual communication
  • Assist with one-off projects for the CEO/Founder and for leadership team members as needed

What we're looking for

  • 2-3+ years of experience in an executive / administrative support role (or similar)
  • Solid experience with executive-level calendar management (especially managing multiple schedules) and with domestic/international travel coordination
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • The ability to organize, multi-task, and problem-solve while balancing competing priorities and commitments to deadlines
  • The ability to operate in ambiguity and adapt quickly to evolving requirements in a startup environment, with a "roll up sleeves / no task too small" mindset
  • A proven track record demonstrating the ability to work independently and proactively on support needs
  • Experience with G-Suite and Slack (or similar tools, and/or the ability to learn these quickly)

What to expect at Arthur

  • Teammates who value curiosity, hard work, collaboration, and creative problem-solving - and good swag.
  • A team of professionals who are passionate about our work and making a positive impact through AI.
  • A caring culture; we value and prioritize our team's physical and mental health, encouraging and celebrating life outside of work.
  • Autonomy to pursue your role and interests with room to grow, with a team behind you that always has your back.
  • Joy, humor, and a little dose of healthy competition (in our business, we win as a team; on company game night, may the best Arthurian win…).

We offer

  • Competitive compensation plus medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401K
    • Our target base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000+, based on your experience and how your skills align with role requirements.
  • Equity in what we're building together, backed by some of the most respected VCs in the industry.
  • A flexible learning and development budget: we'll cover a masters in computer science, or support ways to learn and grow in the areas that matter to you.
  • Highly discounted gym and fitness benefits.
  • Flexible PTO with vacation minimums, which we really want you to take and enjoy.
  • Flexibility to work from our NYC office with a hybrid team
