As a Expanded Learning* Site Coordinator,* you will support students and staff in their day-to-day activities, logistics, and support of ELO programs and partnerships during the school year at Custer and/or Dower elementary schools. The goal of ELO programs is to support the social, emotional and academic development as well as the success of students.

• Assure compliance with state and local regulations, including safety procedures
• Ensure that developed program standards are met
• Support students, families, and schools with registration and recruitment to programs
• Develop intentional relationships with school administrators, teachers, students, and families – during the school day and throughout programming time
• Lead and ensure program objectives are achieved in compliance with professional standards and according to the district, school policies, and ELO visions
• Perform daily duties that ensure the space is properly maintained, organized, clean, and safe.
• Communicate the school mission and vision to community parents, staff and students
• Be the point person for the Y with the assigned school, ensuring needs of both organizations are being met
• Work with director, school and ELO staff that meets youth development objectives

• Associates degree in job related field, such as education, social work, recreation is preferred.

• Ability to communicate with diverse groups; maintain confidentiality; deal with changing priorities; work under frequent interruptions; and work as part of a team.
• Ability to facilitate group discussions, including conflict resolutions.
• Ability to foster and build relationships inside schools and in communities
• Knowledge of skills needed for students to make healthy, successful progress academically, emotionally and socially.
• Knowledge and skills in program activities and related equipment set-up, and the ability to instruct participants in age-appropriate techniques.
• Positive attitude and previous experience with school aged children and diverse populations.

*Starting Wage:* $20.00+ per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Part Time, 25 hrs./or more a week
