Experienced Gas Station Cashier Job at Scotty's Gas and Food
Shell Gas Station in Long Beach, CA is looking to add 1 new motivated full-time cashier to its team immediately.
Pay:
- $16/hr
Qualification Requirements:
- 1 or more year(s) cashiering experience working at a gas station or convenience store
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Very strong communication skills is a priority
- Must provide a reference contact number for your prior gas station and/or c-store manager***
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing the cash register throughout the shift ensuring the money stays balanced and customers are assisted in a fast and accurate manner
- Stocking products on shelves and making sure the store looks clean and professional at all times
- Ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff
- Wearing your shell employee uniform during your shift
- Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store and surrounding property
- Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift as per company guidelines
- Cross and upsell store products and sales to assist in increasing store sales
- Additional projects as assigned by store management
