We are looking for experienced Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) in Lake Las Vegas. Our ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

• Dementia Care
• Bed Bound Care
• ADL's
• Ability to transfer (bed to wheelchair etc)
• Ability to showcase skill set confidently in the home
• Approaches caregiving with empathy, compassion and maturity

Caregiver/PCA Responsibilities:

• Various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s or patient’s needs
• PCA will aid client with daily tasks, including but not limited to the following: toileting, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
• PCA will assist client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements:

• Certified CPR and First Aid (within 30days of Hire)
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to transport Clients (preferred)
• Ability to work with domestic animals (cats/dogs)
• Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Wage:

• $16 per hour for employees working 36 or more hours weekly
