Overview:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Oversee the daily operations/functions of the Facilities team.
  • Assist the Facilities ACOR/OIC in all facilities space and building management functions to include space with parking, building operations and self-help maintenance, space management utilization and allocation, signage, key control, moving services, special events support, parking assignments, and related support services.
  • Charged with the supervision of all maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions, appearance and serviceability of Deployment and Mobilization Division
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Facility Technician Section and Admin Support Section, and IMCOM Housekeeping Section.
  • Areas of responsibility include lighting, plumbing, parking lots, self-help repairs & maintenance, doors and hardware, environmental health & safety, energy efficiency, overall aesthetics, presentation, and any related miscellaneous items causing facility deterioration or life-safety concerns.
  • Responsible for a positive response to requests from building tenants/occupants.
  • Supervises and monitors staff which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for training, motivating, counseling, conducting performance evaluations, developing goals and developing procedures to ensure achievement of goals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Continually provide feedback for both positive and negative performance.
  • Maintain log of utilization per day of all Billeting Facilities. Report monthly billeting utilization report to Deployment and Mobilization Division Chief.
  • Monitor work/service order for facility repairs of Deployment and Mobilization Division areas to include Fort Bliss, McGregor Base Camp, Westbrook, Oro Grande and Dona Ana training areas.
  • Keep Deployment and Mobilization Division, COR, A/COR, and Facilities OIC and Tatitlek PMO staff informed of all safety concerns observed throughout the facilities.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned/approved by Tatitlek management.

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Must have the ability to follow instructions and read signs.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of common cleaning solvents, cleaning tools, and equipment.
  • Must know the proper uses of a variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions and must be able to remove different kinds of stains from a wide variety of surfaces.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot, make adjustments, and perform minor repairs and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ability to follow oral or written instructions in English.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain post driving privileges.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC with network access.
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English at the DLI Level 5/5/5/5 skill level.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Related professional experience or credentials that demonstrate your skill and knowledge to effectively serve in a role as a facility manager.
  • Prior Military E-6 and above

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Facility Services Supervisor establishes and maintains lead employee schedules and establishes criteria by which these leads will be measured.

Work Environment:

Work is usually performed indoors in areas that have adequate heat, light, and ventilation. Exposed to dirt and disagreeable odors, vibration from use of heavy equipment, and strong cleaning solutions. Care is required to avoid serious injury when working on ladders, when moving heavy furniture and using heavy powered equipment. Will be exposed to prevailing weather conditions at the time. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to high, depending on location.

Additional Qualifying Factors:

As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
