Looking for maintenance staff at a BRAND NEW UPSCALE SENIOR LIVING RESORT. Looking for friendly, handy, and dependable people to join our team. Must be available to work some weekends and holidays. Job description:

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs for facility. Responsible for landscape maintenance and repairs for grounds of facility.

• Must have knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and drywall restoration.
• People-friendly attitude, with proactive approach towards building and facility equipment maintenance.
• Conducts daily visual inspection of facility
• Responds appropriately to special projects requested by the Administrator
• Reports all incidents and accidents that occur in maintenance areas, including proper follow up to avoid reoccurrence

Physical requirements:

• Able to move throughout the grounds and facility independently
• Able to stand and walk entire shift or as necessary
• Able to drive as needed
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; bend, stoop, pull & twist
• Able to work in high places such as the roof

Additional skills/knowledge:

• Must have at least one year experience serving in a maintenance capacity
• Must have skills in general repairs, painting, changing air conditioner filters, cleaning grease traps, etc.
• Must be able to demonstrate competence in serving the needs of aged and chronically ill tenants
• Must have appropriate knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations applied to assisted living properties including life safety regulations
• Must be able to maintain sanitation requirements of the property
