Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Faculty Group Practice Support.

In this role, the successful candidate will clean and service assigned areas within operating rooms following standard aseptic and sterile cleaning techniques.
Maintains supplies and cleanliness of space, restocks supplies as needed. Notifies supervisor of any shortage of supplies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean an mop operating rooms ensuring minimal delay between scheduled operative cases to include cleaning tables and equipment and spot cleaning of walls as required.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
• Escort of transport a patient between the various areas of the center at the direction of the nurse.
• Clean areas adjacent to operating rooms including bathrooms, locker rooms, observation rooms, kitchens, hallways, shower stall and other areas and related furnishings.
• Perform floor stripping and waxing in assigned areas as required.
• Restock designated supplies on a regular basis to ensure immediate availability.
• Stock lock rooms and all entry dressing areas with adequate supply or scrub suits, dresses, shoe covers, hoods, masks and gowns.
• Collect and bag soiled linen following completion of operative cases and dispose of property.
• Pick up trash and dispose of trash containers.
• Clean and mop recovery rooms and ancillary rooms.
• Perform terminal cleaning of operating rooms according to predetermined schedule to include high dusting, wall washing and furniture and equipment cleaning, clean surgical lights and light tracks, observation tower windows, air vents, autoclaves and scrub rooms as per attached detailed guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in adjacent corridors; sweep and mop all out-patient areas during assigned shift.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must be able to communicate and understand simple directions in English. Ability to perform physical tasks including mopping, operating buffers, etc.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
